About Ms. BoshaeMy name is Stephanie Boshae and I am currently a physical education teacher at Chavez High School- Academy of Scientific Exploration. I graduated from CSUN in spring 2012, with a Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Physical Education. I completed my Teaching Credential at CSUN in spring 2014. For the past 4 years I have been teaching physical education. Prior to Physical Education I spent 6 years as an employed science/mathematics Teacher's Assistant.
As a professional educator, I will present physical activity in a positive and professional manner, as to maximize the self-esteem and the self-confidence of my students. I have coached at the high school level for 9 years and this is my 3rd year as the head softball coach at Chavez High School. Before coaching at Chavez, I was the assistant varsity coach at Sylmar High School for 6 years. As a coach, I have 2 City Titles (2014 & 2016). As a teacher-coach I am a firm believer that if you have knowledge pass it on to those who do not. I also believe that playing sports as a child not only builds character and confidence but also gives a sense of accomplishment. It also prepares children for life, teaching them about working as a team or as a team player, not as an individual. |
